Amoi, a barren planet. Tanagura, its vast capital city that never sleeps.A bizarre society.
Centuries ago scientists pursued their idea of a perfect civilization and created a mainframe system Lambda 3000. However, something went wrong. The super computer, better known as Jupiter, attained consciousness and took over the task of building a new society, which became eccentric, hierarchical and mostly male-populated.
The ruling elite of the society – the Blondies, the highest of the high. A remarkably strong yet sterile species genetically engineered by Jupiter. Leading their lives in Eos, enjoying the entertainment provided by their human Pets, keeping human Furniture as their servants.
The middle class – citizens. Regular people, living in the suburbs, being free to do whatever they want.
At the bottom – the lowest of the low; Mongrels. Those without a citizenship, those who are too low to become anything remarkable. Leading a rough life in the slums of Ceres, a place separated from the rest of the city by non-existent walls.
Tanagura, a city buzzling at any hour of the day. As the twin moons shine over the city at night, Midas, the pleasure quarters, is filled with people looking for excitement from bars, nightclubs, casinos, brothels and various stores. In the middle of the posh city, in the tower of Eos, the representatives of the elite are revelling in Pet shows, enjoying the taste of expensive wine. Meanwhile a disobedient Furniture is being severely punished in the basement of the tower. Simultaneously in Ceres, the slum, frustration feeds the rage which results in gang fights outside sloppy pubs. The city never sleeps.
Amoi is a futuristic yaoi role play game, settled in the world of Ai no Kusabi, created by Rieko Yoshihara. The incidents of the original story belong to the past and players are not expected to have familiarized themselves with it.
